Pakistan National Arrested at Bahadurpura For Overstaying

Hyderabad: A Pakistan national identified as Fayaz, was arrested from his in-laws' home at Bahadurpura in the city on Thursday. Fayaz had come to the city on a visit visa and continued to stay here even after the visa expired, said DCP South Zone P Sai Chaitanya. Though no suspicious activity has been found, his antecedents are being thoroughly verified, he said.

According to sources, Fayaz while working in Dubai, fell in love with a Hyderabadi woman and got married. The duo came to Hyderabad around three months ago and were staying at the woman’s home in Bahadurpura.

However, his visa expired recently. Instead of leaving the city, he continued to stay here. Acting on a tip off, City police nabbed him. Further investigation is underway, police said.
