Three tourists hurt in Rameswaram accident
While passing over a speed-breaker, the driver of the vehicle suddenly lost control and it flipped to one side, sources said.
Rameswaram: At least three tourists including the driver of a tourist bus were seriously injured when the vehicle, hitting a speed-breaker on the Pamban road bridge suddenly capsized in the early hours of Sunday. Police said that the tourist bus, with 20 tourists-cum-pilgrims from Tirupur was returning home after visiting places of importance in Rameswaram Island when the mishap occurred.

The injured were brought to Rameswaram government hospital for treatment. The driver of the tourist bus who suffered a severe leg fracture has been shifted to the Government Headquarters hospital in Ramanathapuram, sources said.
