Bengaluru: Prostitution ring busted, five held

While Mohan and Jagadish brought women from the city outskirts, Uday Kumar and Arun brought customers.

Bengaluru: Five people were arrested for running prostitution racket from a house in Marathahalli and rescued three women during a raid on late Friday. The arrested have been identified as C.V. Mohan, a resident of 3rd Main Fifth Block, K.R. Jagadish , a resident of Subhashnagar near Iyappa temple, Uday Kumar a resident of Kadamba building Kormangala, Arun (26), a resident of Karimnagar Andhra Pradesh, Ganesh (48), a resident of Marathahalli. According to the police, Ganesh was running the prostitution ring from his house located near Gayatri Devi temple.

While Mohan and Jagadish brought women from the city outskirts, Uday Kumar and Arun brought customers. Based on a tip off, a police team, headed by inspector Ramachandra, raided the house on Friday night and rescued the women.
