Bowenpally police arrest notorious interstate burglars

Four interstate house burglars gang from Pune involved in 29 offences were arrested by the Bowenpally police stolen property worth Rs 4.60 lakh were recovered from their possession, discloses Chandana Deepti, DCP north zone in a press meet on Tuesday. (DC)

 Hyderabad: Bowenpally police arrested four persons from Pune for 29 thefts, and recovered stolen property worth Rs 4.6 lakh at their instance. The gang used to pose as bachelors looking for rental accommodation, recce the property and burgle it during the day.

North zone DCP Chandana Deepti identified the accused as vegetable vendor Nilesh Ankush Kale, 51 and three 21-year-olds —pan shop owner Akash Bhavarsingh Rajput, autorickshaw driver Vishal Anil Nalawade and student Shankar Dnyaneshwar Adagle. Two persons, Dinesh Nilesh Kale and Shareef, were yet to be arrested.

Police arrested the gang when they were investigating a theft at the house of a civil contractor, Ch Ramesh, in Bapujinagar, Bowenpally. With the family away, the gang stole ornaments and Rs 1.30 lakh kept in the almirah.
