Telangana: Man sexually abuses woman promising her job abroad

The woman's husband died three years ago and the lady wanted to go to Saudi Arabia to take up a job.

HYDERABAD: An agent who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman aspiring a gulf job and threatened her after retaining her passport was arrested by the Charminar police on Tuesday. The accused Mohd Kareemuddin, 42, a flower vendor from Fatehshahnagar in Moinbagh of Old City came in contact with one woman from Guntakhal in Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The woman’s husband died three years ago and the lady wanted to go to Saudi Arabia to take up a job.

“The accused collected the passport of the victim on the pretext of arranging a visa and asked her to satisfy his lust. He took her to a room at Fatehshahn-agar and molested her,” Charminar ACP K. Ashok Chakravarthy said.
