Hyderabad police raids farmhouse,10 held for gambling

Police found that Mallela Rao often played cards in the city and had invited his friends to his farmhouse.

As a big relief to the residents of RK Puram and Devinagar, the Neredmet police on Saturday swung into action and arrested one person from the illegal piggery involved in extracting oil from pig wastes.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police raided a farmhouse in Moinabad village and nabbed 10 persons playing cards. Police said, one Mallela Rao, a businessman from Hyderabad, owns the farmhouse in Moinabad. Police found that Mallela Rao often played cards in the city and had invited his friends to his farmhouse. So nine others came to the farmhouse on Saturday night and started gambling, said SI Md Nayeemuddin.

Police arrested Mallela Rao and S. Balaraj. Eight others were also booked. The cops seized Rs 1.15 lakh, six bikes and nine phones. 

They were sent to judicial custody.
