Hyderabad: Deputy tahsildar arrested for taking bribe

Hyderabad: Deputy tahsildar  Bandaru Satyanarayana, serving at the office of the Suryapet tahsildar, was caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000.

The bribe was being accepted by one Pagidimarri Prakasham from the complainant, Karingula Lingaiah. The official had allegedly asked Mr Lingaiah for the bribe to process and issue pahanis. The bribe amount was recovered and the accused was arrested and produced before the special court for ACB cases.
