Guntur: 50-year-old killed in bike accident

GUNTUR: A 50-year-old man died on the spot in a road accident near Dharanikota village of Amaravati Mandal, Guntur district, on Tuesday. 

According to sub-inspector I. M. Narasimha Rao, the victim Karamsetty Punnaiah was going to Munugodu village on his motorcycle to attend a function. Another bike coming in the opposite direction rammed into Punnaiah at JB Gardens area near Dharanikota.  Punnaiah fell onto the road and received severe head and body injuries and died on the spot. 

The Amaravati police rushed to the spot, shifted the body to Amaravati Area Hospital for autopsy. Police has registered a case and started an investigation.
