TRS leader kidnaps, assaults man, held

Hyderabad: Ameenpur police arrested four persons including a local TRS leader for allegedly kidnapping a man and having an extramarital affair with a married woman. The woman’s husband approached the police and lodged a complaint and police has started an investigation. According to the police, the
husband had recorded the meeting of his wife and the accused Sikhamani, who is the husband Ameenpur municipality co-option member. The TRS leader then kidnapped the complainant and allegedly assaulted him.

The TRS leader later deleted the videos. Sikhamani and the others would
be produced before a court, said Ameenpur sub-inspector Subhash.
