Woman kills boyfriend, surrenders

Ananthapur: A woman killed her boyfriend on a deserted hillock near Seetharamapuram in Nellore district, burnt his body and surrendered to police on Sunday.

Police said K. Subba Rao of Kondrajupalli in Kasinayana mandal had been having an extramarital affair with Moharunnisa of Porumamilla in YSR district. On Sunday, the two had gone to a deserted place at Seetharamapuram Kanuma on the border of Nellore district.

However, they ended up quarrelling, following which Moharunnisa killed Subba Rao and burnt his dead body by dousing petrol on it. She then surrendered before Porumamilla police confessing her crime.

Porumamilla police alerted Seetharamapuram police and handed over the accused to them.
