Andhra Pradesh: Agri Gold queue claims 1 more life

Visakhapatnam: A depositor in Agri Gold company Jeeru Polaiah (58) died of cardiac arrest when he was standing in a long queue to register his details for verification under Bheemili police station limits in Vizag on Saturday. 

The police said that Polaiah had deposited Rs 5,000 in Agri Gold company on his daughter’s name in 2003. On Saturday, he stood in the queue for physical verification to register his details to claim his refund when he suddenly fell down and died of cardiac arrest. 

The police have shifted his body to KG Hospital in the city for post-mortem after registering a case. Sources said that it was the second death of an Agri Gold depositor in the state after the physical verification of duped depositors’ process commenced.
