Hyderabad: Class X Student Jumps to Death

Hyderabad: A 14-year-old Class 10 student died by suicide at My Home Bhooja on Monday evening after sending a WhatsApp message to his family, Raidurgam police said. The incident came to light on Tuesday morning, as the incident had occurred in an isolated spot.

Raidurgam inspector M. Mahesh said, “He sent a message in the family WhatsApp group, saying ‘I have personal reasons, please, apologies and give my things to younger brother’ and ‘Thank you’.” The family immediately launched a search for him

According to reliable sources, the boy’s father, employed with a private sector company, received  information from a security personnel of to his son was spotted in a pool of blood at the side of the building on Tuesday morning. 

“He was very good at academics. He was also very well-behaved, according to his friends and family members,” the inspector said.

The reasons for the suicide were not known, police said. The parents suspected no one. “Based on the parents' complaint, we are probing what led him to take the extreme step,” inspector Mahesh said.

A friend of the family denied rumours that the child had ended his life owing to addiction of online gaming. 

Police acquired last footage of the boy going out of the house at 7 pm and no footage of his recorded after that.
