J&K: Two army jawans, one civilian injured in grenade blast

Srinagar: Two army jawans and a civilian were injured on Saturday after unidentified militants lobbed a grenade on an army patrol party in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police official said.

Unidentified militants lobbed a grenade on an army patrol party at Goriwan in Bijbehara area of the district causing splinter injuries to two army jawans and a civilian, he said. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

Security forces have cordoned-off the area and a hunt has been launched to nab the militants, the official said.
