Anantapur: The CBI team served another notice on Kadapa MP, YS Avinash Reddy, asking him to appear before the CBI office in Hyderabad on Jan 28 for questioning in the Vivekananda murder case.

The CBI had earlier asked him to appear before it on on Jan 24, but the Kadapa MP sought a few more days’ time. He had also announced that he was ready to cooperate with the CBI and facts should come to light in the murder case.

As Avinash Reddy sent a letter to the investigating agency through his PA from Pulivendula, the CBI team camping at Pulivendula again visited several places including suspicious locations in Pulivendula and Kadapa areas. Sources said the CBI team enquired about Avinash Reddy father YS Bhaskar Reddy at his residence before the team returned to Hyderabad.

Two teams of the CBI were in Pulivendula on Wednesday as the agency is speeding up the investigations into the three-year-old murder after the case’s transfer from AP to the Telangana CBI court.
