Hyderabad police arrest 3 gangs for stealing Phone

Police arrested two other gangs that were involved in 10 cases.

Hyderabad: South Zone Task Force arrested two youths who stole two smartphones because they wanted to make TikTok videos. Police arrested two other gangs that were involved in 10 cases.

Police said childhood friends B. Naresh and Rangapuram Kumar, both 19, one a worker in the film industry and another an autorickshaw driver, used to watch TikTok videos and later wanted to make similiar videos. As they did not have a good enough smartphone, they stole two of them.

In another case, rowdysheeter Shaik Obaid, who was twice detained under the PD Act, was nabbed along with his associate Abdul Lateef Khan for five robberies. Police found four daggers and Rs 5 lakh with Obaid.

In the third case, the South Zone team along with the Falaknuma police apprehended a cellphone snatching gang comprising Mohd Mosin, Mohd Akbaruddin Farooqui, Mohd Khadeer and Mir Shahnawaz Ali.
