Dundigal police finds decomposed body in suitcase
The police suspects that she was murdered somewhere else and her body was dumped under the culvert.
Hyderabad: The decomposed body of a woman was found stuffed in a suitcase under a culvert near the Outer Ring Road in Dundigal. The Dundigal police has registered a case of murder and alerted its counterparts to share information of any cases of missing women that they might have registered so as to establish the identity of the deceased.
A police patrol on the ORR service road in Shambipur on Thursday was told by passersby that a foul smell was emanating from a suitcase under the culvert. The police went to the spot and opened the briefcase and found the decomposed body.
The woman was wearing a salwar and kameez. The police suspects that she was murdered somewhere else and her body was dumped under the culvert.
The police registered a case under Sections 302 and 201 of the IPC and alerted their counterparts about the incident and sent the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
