Youth brutally murdered by his friend following after a drunken brawl
Tarun, a resident of Bapunagar, completed his inter, since then he was unemployed and Shareef a resident of SR Nagar were good friends
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man was brutally murdered by his friend after a drunken brawl in Dasaram Basti, in SR Nagar police limits.
The victim P Tarun, had consumed liquor along with his friend Mohammed Shareef (25), at a wine shop in Dasaram Basti, Monday late night.
Following a heated argument between both, Shareef along with his two friends pushed Tarun to the ground, Shareef brutally attacked Tarun with heavy stones causing multiple injuries and fled the scene, police said.
Tarun was rushed to Gandhi Hospital, and succumbed to injuries at 4.30 am on Tuesday, police said.
Tarun, a resident of Bapunagar, had completed his intermediate, since then he was unemployed and Shareef a resident of S R Nagar were good friends and were consuming liquor when Shareef attacked him, we are making efforts to find out the reasons behind the murder, V R Prasad Rao, inspector of S R Nagar police inspector said.
However police suspect that previous enmity over financial disputes might have been the reason behind the murder.
Police visited the crime scene and collected the blood stained, stones and victim's clothing as evidence and sent it for examination to FSL.
A case of murder has been registered against Shareef, the victim's body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Based on Tarun's dying declaration statement and statements recorded from eye witnesses, two suspects have been taken for questioning, police sources disclosed.
