Hyderabad: An autorickshaw driver was decapitated by two of his friends over an alleged financial dispute early on Friday in Miyapur. The head of the victim, P. Praveen, 24, was found three km from the body.

On Friday morning, one Rajesh, a resident of Miyapur, appro-ached the police stating that his friend Praveen was taken away by two persons who beat him ruthlessly. That was the last he saw of him.

Police took Rajesh to the spot near the Sree Dharmapuri Kshetram temple where they found near some bushes a decapitated body with hands tied with a piece of cloth. On searching the place, Praveen’s head was found about three km away.

Miyapur inspector S. Venkatesh said, “Prima facie, it is found that Srikanth, who is into finance business, had lent some money to Praveen who was repaying him in instalments. They had a dispute for quite some time.”

Two police teams have been formed to nab Srikanth and Srinivas.
