Jaipur: A college girl was allegedly abducted and gangraped by five youths in Bhopalgarh in Jodhpur district on Saturday. The girl has filed a police complaint against five persons and one of them is said to be the son of a local BJP leader.  When the matter came to light on Monday, people gathered in large numbers to protest outside the local police station.

According to reports, the police tried to hush up the matter as a BJP leader’s son was one of the accused.  In her complaint, the rape survivor said that she was abducted outside her college by five persons. Three of them were in a tempo and other two on a motorbike. She said she was taken to a Kaluram Vishnoi’s house where the accused — Mukesh, Sunil, Surjaram, Samander and Jitendra — raped her.
