Telangana: 35-yr-old woman labourer raped by 2 men
2 men came on a bike and dragged the woman to nearby bushes to allegedly rape her, after which they fled the scene, the police said.
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old woman labourer was allegedly raped by two unidentified men in Peerjadiguda near Hyderabad on Monday night when she was returning home from work, the police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, two men, aged between 21 to 25, arrived on a bike and forcibly took the woman into nearby bushes and allegedly raped her.
"They also beat her up resulting in injuries," a police official of Medipalli police station said, adding that the duo fled the scene after committing the crime.
The woman somehow managed to reach the police station with the help of some locals on Tuesday and lodged a complaint.
She was later taken to a hospital for medical examination, the official said, adding that a case has been registered in connection with the matter and further investigation is on.
