Hyderabad: A man allegedly strangled his wife to death in Tukaramgate on Sunday evening and fled. P. Venkat Lakshmi, 30, was found dead inside their single bedroom flat. “It appears that her husband  P. Shiva Shankar strangled Lakshmi with a cable. He must have left after making sure she was dead,” said Tukaramgate inspector G. Ramesh. He said that it appeared that Shankar had planned the murder. He had left their seven-year-old daughter at his native place in Rajahmundry four days ago.
