Hyderabad: The Cyberabad cyber crime police busted a gang that copied details of debit cards, including the PIN, being used at ATMs and filched money from the accounts.
Police said the gang had made Rs 7 lakh by this method. Police got on their trial after a complaint. Cyber crimes inspector P. Ravinder Reddy said gang would enter ATM kiosks when it was in use and observe the card number and PIN details being entered by the user. They They would later transfer money from the victim’s accounts to their mobile wallets.
The accused were identified Kamireddy Venkata Madhusudhan Reddy, Pujari Vinod Kumar Reddy and Donda Lokanath, residents of Moosapet.
