Malkajgiri district edu officer A Usharani suspended for bribe

Hyderabad: Commissioner and director of school education G. Kishan on Wednesday issued suspension orders to Medchal-Malkajgiri district education officer A. Usharani on the allegations over bribe demands from a contractor.

Based on the directions issued by De-puty Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Mr Kishan issued suspension orders and issued full additional charges to Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri DEO R. Rohini to take care of Medchal district.

According to the orders, Ms Usharani had demanded bribe for passing bills of ‘Urban Residential Hostel’ and also misplaced a file related to the matter. The government ahd ordered a probe into the matter.
