Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed an FIR into the alleged Rs 350-crore scam in the purchase of Pilatus trainer aircraft in 2009.
Between August and October 2010, approximately Rs 350 crore in instalments were transferred into the bank accounts of Bhandari’s Offset India Solutions FZC in Dubai to obtain the contract.

With accepting commission being a cognisable offence, the CBI booked unidentified officials of the IAF, the defence ministry and Pilatus in the case. Apart from Sanjay Bhandri, Bimal Sareen, Offset India Solutions, the CBI also booked Deepak Agarwal and Himanshu Verma.
