Hyderabad: Housewife, 20, jumps to her death

Hyderabad: A 20-year-old housewife committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of her parents’ house in Nallakunta on Saturday due to marital disputes and dowry harassment by her husband. The deceased Nikita, was the wife of one Subramaniyam, a private sector employee.

“The couple got married in 2015. They were having arguments regarding dowry. Nitika came to stay with her parents four days back. She jumped from the second floor,” said inspector P. Murali Krishna. Police registered a case under Section 304B (dowry death) at Ramgopalpet police station.
