Hyderabad: Man nabbed for killing father-in-law

Hyderabad: The police arrested a 45-year-old man who killed his father-in-law for concealing his daughter’s illness at the time of their wedding.

On March 11, the suspect, K. Yellaiah allegedly attacked the victim, 62-year-old V. Anjaiah at their home in Lakshmiguda. “Yellaiah hit the victim with a blunt weapon on his head. The victim died later,” said a police official. Police said  Yellaiah had married Anjaiah’s daughter Anjamma five years back.

At the time of wedding, Anjaiah concealed his daughter’s illness. The suspect had been quarrelling over this since then. On March 11, he started a quarrel after drinking and killed Anjaiah.
