Sudden death of college girl in Erode causes flutter

Erode: The sudden death of a 19-year-old female student of a private women's college here in the wee hours of Thursday shocked people here.
Police said that Sadhana, daughter of 47-year-old Satyamurthy, a truck driver from neighbouring Namakkal district, was a third year student of B.Sc. (biomedical) in a private women's college here.
After the classes were over on Saturday, Sadhana returned to her hostel room. However, shortly after midnight last night, Sadhana was apparently afflicted with convulsions. Her hostel mates at once alerted the warden who arranged for taking Sadhana to a private hospital initially for treatment. Sadhana was again shifted from there to the Erode government hospital, but she suddenly died on way to the hospital, sources said. Probe is on.
