TRS youth leader stabbed, safe

According to the police, the condition of the youth leader is said to be out of danger.

Hyderabad: Unidentified men stabbed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) youth leader at Chevemla mandal of Suryapet district on Friday night. According to the police, the condition of the youth leader is said to be out of danger.

The man, identified as Annapoorna Surendra Goud, is a local leader of the TRS party. 

According to the police, on Friday night, when Surendra was passing through the Musi culvert at his native village, Kudakuda, a few unidentified men attacked him with a knife.

“Surendra in his complaint stated that a few unidentified men attacked him with a knife. He suspects that the men are associated with the Bhartiya Janata Party had attacked him,” said the sub-inspector Praveen Kumar. 

“A case has been registered and Surendra was sent to a local hospital for treatment,” the official said. Two teams have been formed by the police to nab the accused.
