Hyderabad: Blast at IDL detonators kills one

Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man working in a detonator manufacturing company died in an explosion in the company in Nalgonda district on Monday. The blast brought down the block he was working in, breaking his body into pieces.

The victim was identified as M. Lingaraju, working as a technician in IDL Detonators Private Limited located on the outskirts of Narketpally town in the district.

On Monday morning, while he was working on a machine which mixes components of explosives for manufacturing electrical detonators suddenly exploded, said Mr K Goverdhan, SI of Narketpally Police station. A case has been booked against the company.
