Hyderabad: Footpath encroachers booked

Hyderabad: The Abids traffic police have booked five cases against footpath encroachers and removed illegal encroachments from the collector’s office road near Jagdeesh Market, Chirag-Ali-lane and Taj Mahal Hotel Road. 

The traffic officials in Abids have been conducting awarness campaigns against footpath encroachments.

Offenders were also issued notices against the encroachments. However, due to repeated offences, the traffic police conducted special drives against encroachers as the offenders did not pay heed to the repeated please by the traffic officials.
