Visakhapatnam: Woman officer has Rs 20 crore assets

Visakhapatnam: Officials from the Anti-Corruption raided on Friday the office and houses of  M. Vijaylakshmi, a project director of Woman and Child Welfare Department and unearthed wealth “disproportionate” to known sources of her income. The total value of seized property is an estimated Rs 20 crore. Raids were conducted in eight places including five in Vizag city simultaneously.

The teams seized documents to a two-storeyed building and two properties at PM Palem, two plots of land in Bhogapuram area in Vizianagaram, an apartment at Bakkannapalem and a flat near Peda Waltair among others.
