Trio convicted for misbehaving with cop in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Nampally Criminal Court sentenced three persons to undergo 20 days of imprisonment for misbehaving with a police officer in Santoshnagar.

According to Santoshnagar police, the accused on Monday were booked in a case for misbehaving with the police and produced before the court on Tuesday.

Based on police reports, Laxman Rao, magistrate, VII Special MM Court, Nampally convicted the accused to undergo 20 days of imprisonment, Santoshnagar police said.

The accused identified as Mohammed Ahmed, 20, a resident of Chandrayangutta, Mohammed Nadeem Ahmed, 32, and Mohammed Kashif, 22, both residents of Yakutpura, on Monday were arrested by the police after they created a nuisance in the area and when the Santoshnagar Police tried to pacify, the trio misbehaved with them, Santoshnagar Police inspector P. Shiva Chandra said.
