Hyderabad: Masked men attack businessman

A case under Section 307 of IPC was registered against the attackers.

Hyderabad: A scrap vendor was stabbed by three unidentified persons at Dabeerpura on Thursday night and the condition of the man is said to be stable, the police said. The man, identified as Mohd Jabbar, runs a scrap store at Purani Haveli road in Dabeerpura police station limits and was returning home after visiting his godown at Chaderghat. At 10.30 pm, when the man reached seven temple area on the road running parallel to the tracks, he was attacked.

“Three masked men waylaid Jabber and hit him on the shoulder with a knife resulting in a shoulder wound. Later, they fled when he raised an alarm,” said sub-inspector of police, Dabeerpura, B. Shravan Kumar. A case under Section 307 of IPC was registered against the attackers.
