Kochi: A.S. Sunilraj alias Appunni, Eloor, manager and driver of actor Dileep, has moved the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the actor abduction case. He argued that police were  trying to create evidence by turning him and Nadirsha as approvers.

Appunni, 27, submitted that there was no evidence to implicate Dileep in the crime. He apprehended arrest and said  that cops may implicate him in the case.

According to Appunni, he was  interrogated by the special investigation team and nothing was found against him. However,  during the past few days there had been media reports against him. There was no need  to arrest him in the case, he said.

Appunni claimed innocence and submitted that he had no connection or association with Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the sexual assault case.

The petition further stated that he will be intimidated and tortured and subjected to third-degree methods if he was taken into custody.
