Hyderabad: Theft in Amazon warehouse

Police said warehouse supervisor Naga Subba Reddy lodged a complaint with the police for Amazon.

Hyderabad: Electronic gadgets like laptops and smart phones were stolen from a warehouse belonging to e-commerce giant Amazon in Kothur in Ranga Reddy district. After an inventory check, the staff filed a complaint with the police. A case was registered on Sunday.

Police said warehouse supervisor Naga Subba Reddy lodged a complaint with the police for Amazon. On Wednesday, an online inventory check in the warehouse found stock missing.

After that the staff conducted a physical check and found the gadgets were missing from the warehouse and filed a complaint on Sunday.

“We have started an inquiry, but the quantity of the goods lost and its value will be known after their audit teams visit on Monday.” Kothur SI A. Srisailam said.
A case of theft was registered by the police and investigations are on.
