Kurnool: Burglars decamped with at least six kg of gold and Rs 15 lakh from a jewellery merchant’s house in Koilakuntla town in the early hours of Sunday. The burgled houses are at Ammavari Street and belongs to P. Anjaneyulu, a jewellery merchant. Police said the thieves entered the house through the main doors while the two families had gone to Hyderabad. Police said the thieves entered the bedrooms and opened the iron safe as it was not locked, and stole the valuables without any effort.
