Sircilla: ACB nabs forest official accepting Rs 3 lakh bribe

Sircilla: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday nabbed a divisional forest department officer allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh from a person in Rajanna Sircilla district.

Acting on a complaint filed by a person, the officials laid a trap and caught the divisional forest officer Anitha red-handed when she allegedly received the bribe from the complainant at the office of the forest department.

The officials registered a case against Anitha and investigations are underway. Officials have appealed to the people to report to ACB if anybody demands bribe as it is illegal.
