Biker dies in road accident at Gachibowli

Hyderabad: A biker was killed in a road accident at Gachibowli on Thursday. The police registered a case and is on a hunt for the accused involved in the hit-and-run case.

Gachibowli inspector R. Srinivas said that the victim G. Komaraiah, 32, a resident of Rajivnagar colony was heading home after attending construction work on his bike (TS 07 GP 3145), he was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the main road in front of Indian Immunology Centre at Gachibowli.

Komaraiah was severely injured in the accident. Passersby alerted the police and a team rushed him to Himagiri Hospital for treatment in an ambulance, but he was declared brought dead by doctors.

Based on a complaint from his brother G. Raju, a case has been registered.
