Bengaluru: K.R. Puram police have arrested two people a day after they murdered a 21-year-old man, who was the relative of one of the accused, over a trivial issue.

The accused have been identified Imran (32), a resident of J.C. Layout in Devasandra, and his friend Sahil. The duo had killed Afroz Pasha (21), a relative of Imran.

According to police, Imran and Afroz got into a fight over a minor issue about 20 days ago. On Tuesday, Imran asked Sahil to call Afroz to his house to settle their rift through talks.

Sahil called up Afroz and offered to mediate and persuaded him to come to Imran's house.

But when Afroz came, Imran again picked up a fight. In a fit of rage he hacked him to death using lethal weapons and fled.

Afroz's elder brother Allahbaksh filed a complaint with K.R. Puram police on the same day. The police nabbed and arrested both the accused on Wednesday and produced them before a court.
