Haryana drivers steal Rs 1.30 crore worth of mobile phones from container in Kurnool

Kurnool: Two drivers stole a container filled with mobile phones worth Rs. 1.30 crore near Obulapuram Mitta on the national highway at Dhone in Nandyal district on September 11. The theft came to light when the owner of the stocks from Nagaland lodged a formal complaint with the Dhone police on September 12.
The incident occurred when a container transporting mobile phones from Haryana to Bengaluru was parked by the drivers at the side of the road. Subsequently, the drivers, Wajid and Ruhil from Mewat in Haryana, broke the key and transferred the mobile phones to another vehicle and abandoned the container before fleeing the scene.
Dhone circle inspector Praveen Kumar said that the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. A special team has been sent to Haryana to apprehend the suspects.
