Telangana: Four students held for mobile snatching

Police seized a gold chain and several mobile phones worth Rs 2 Lakh from their possession.

Hyderabad: Saroor Nagar police nabbed four students involved in cell phone snatching and recovered property worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession. The arrested were identified as Kadamanchi Akhil, 19, resident of Saidabad, Dhika Gopal, 19, resident of Alwal, Kondareddy Saiteja, 19, and Nemali Akhil, 19, both residents of Saidabad. 

“The gang was apprehended by patrolling police on suspicion while they were roaming on bikes. Police brought them in for questioning during which they confessed to have committing thefts” said the ACP Rachakonda, P. Venugopal Rao.
