Burglars loot while owners asleep

Hyderabad: Burglars broke into two houses and decamped with property while occupants were asleep on the terrace. 

According to the police, the burglars broke into the house of Srinivas Reddy and Mallesh, who live in L.B. Nagar police station limits.

“Both families were sleeping on the terrace as it was summer and burglars noticing the houses being locked, broke the locks open and decamped with the property,” Avinash Babu, Sub-Inspector of L.B. Nagar said. 

In all, the burglars took away Rs 15,000 cash and silver articles from the house of Srinivas Reddy while they decamped with three tola gold from Mallesh's house. The police registered a case and an investigation is on.
