Tirupati: YSRC MLA puts out selfie ‘suicide video’

Tirupati: YSRC Puthalapattu legislator Sunil put out a selfie video in which he threatened to commit suicide over allegations by certain party leaders that he was working with the Telugu Desam.

Appealing to YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to believe him, Mr Sunil said in the video, “I have never tried to do anything bad to the party, but a few rivals are spreading rumours that I made a secret pact with TD leaders to defeat our party.” “As everyone has started believing these rumours, I can’t face our party chief, whom we treat as God, hence I have decided to commit suicide,” Mr Sunil said.

Meanwhile, after the video went viral the local police started searching for the MLA but he went underground for a while.

The MLA was later found under sedation at a church in Palamaneru. His wife Mamatha said Mr Sunil was sedated as he was under depression.
