Raidurgam sub-inspector nabbed by ACB

Hyderabad: Raidurgam sub-inspector Ganagoni Shashidhar was booked for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000.

The accused was caught red-handed accepting Rs 2,000 as the final payment of the bribe from complainant Guttikonda Murali Satyanarayana Vara Prasad.

The sub-inspector demanded money to ‘manage’ a case and give station bail in a particular case.

Shashidhar was arrested and produced before the special court for ACB cases, and the money was confiscated.
