Hyderabad: Worker murdered over petty quarrel

According to the police, the victim, Anil Kumar Pandey from UP, was working for one Raju for the past seven months.

The Dharmapuri district police suspect the death of a missing girl to be a case of murder, as her relatives allegedly hushed up the issue and planned to cremate her body without informing the police.

Hyderabad: A petty quarrel between four persons over money led to the death of one person at Petbasheerbad. 

According to the police, the victim, Anil Kumar Pandey from UP, was working for one Raju for the past seven months. Another worker, Rajvan, and his sons — Bantu and Sailesh — also from UP were also working for the same person.

Anil had a dispute with Rajvan over Rs 15,000. On Monday night, all of them consumed liquor and the brawl started near Mallareddy College campus. In a fit of rage, Rajvan and his sons assaulted Anil Kumar with a stick. Anil Kumar sustained severe injuries on the head and collapsed. He was rushed to the Gandhi Hospital on Monday midnight, where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday afternoon.
