Hyderabad: Man held for misbehaving with minor

Hyderabad: A 31-year-old man, who misbehaved with his female cousin by touching her inappropriately, was arrested by the Malkajgiri police on Wednesday.

Malkajgiri police said that, on May 14, Vangala Santosh Kumar, 31, a resident of Ramanthapur went with his brother to the house of his uncle in Malkajgiri to discuss the sale of a family property.

After the discussion, the others left but Santosh stayed back with his uncle’s 13-year-old daughter.

At around 9.30 pm he forced her into a room and misbehaved with her by touching her inappropriately.  The girl raised a hue and cry, and escaped. She told her parents what had happened and they lodged a complaint with the Malkajgiri police the next day, said the police.
