Viveka case: Avinash appears before CBI court

HYDERABAD: Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, accused in the case pertaining to the murder of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, appeared before the CBI court here on Monday. This is his first appearance before the CBI Court after he was arraigned as accused.

The court directed him to appear for the next hearing on September 1. He is on anticipatory bail, which was granted by the High Court.

All other accused, except Sk Dastagiri, who has turned approver, appeared before the CBI court, including Erra Gangi Reddy, Sunil Yadav, Umashankar Reddy, Shivashankar Reddy, Udaykumar Reddy and the MP’s father Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy. They all were sent back to jail later.
