Family Accuses Village Volunteer of Setting House on Fire

Kurnool: A family, whose house in South Amuluru village was set on fire late Friday night, has filed a complaint with TP Gudur police in Nellore holding a local village volunteer responsible for the incident.

Jana Sena leaders, led by Shahnawaz, have also lodged a complaint with TP Gudur police, accusing the volunteer Subrahmanyam of committing many other irregularities.

Vangipudi Seenaiah, whose house was set afire, complained that the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Krishnaiah, son of Seenaiah, alleged that the incident was a retaliatory act and demanded that police take stern action against Subrahmanyam.
