Telangana: Body of born baby found

Hyderabad: A newborn male baby was found dead in Chandanagar. Police suspect his family could have abandoned the child after birth. A case has been booked and investigation started.

According to police, residents of Lakshmi Bihar, Phase I in Chandanagar found the body in the bushes on Thursday night and alerted police. 

A case of concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body (318 IPC) was registered. Police said that they are verifying the records in the hospitals in the surrounding areas.
