Online threats: Man held for threatening messages

A police complaint was registered in this connection and the police had booked the accused for criminal intimidation.

Bengaluru: The Banashankari police have arrested a person who had allegedly posted threatening messages on Facebook that former BBMP corporator N. R. Ramesh will be murdered.

The accused has been identified as Hareesh Talari, a resident of Moodalapalya in Kalyan Nagar. A few days ago, the accused person had commented to a post on Facebook that N. R. Ramesh will be murdered for making allegations against Congress party leaders.

A police complaint was registered in this connection and the police had booked the accused for criminal intimidation. Based on the complaint, Hareesh Talari was arrested, the police said.
